Description: In The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, Porky Pig and Daffy Duck defend the earth against an invader who seeks to turn people into gum-chewing zombies. Anybody who grew up watching the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoons would like this funny movie. For Porky and Daffy’s house to pass the annual inspection, repairs must be made. It doesn’t matter that the inspector is a snobbish old woman who is too curvy. If she finds out that the house isn’t up to code, our heroes will be out on their tukases. Using a pizza box to patch a hole in the front stairs and green paint to hide a bare spot on the lawn, they proceed to do the necessary repairs in a cartoonish manner.
